Hey im using FL Studio 6 XXL Producer Edition and everytime i enable ASIO4ALL in order to talk i the mic i cant hear anything at all but when i switch it back by going to the audio options back to my regular sound driver , SoundMax Integrated Digital Audio, the sound comes back on.. ASIO4ALL says that my output is not available.. can anyone tell me why? or if there is anyway i can get a new output device or watever sorry im still a newb at this =\... anyways any help would be great thanks!! ;D

P.S i forgot to state that my output is MS GS Wavetable Synth

MS Wavetable Synth audio only feeds thru the OS WDM audio driver, it cannot "connect" to thru to ASIO4ALL.
If you disable ASIO4ALL and select WDM driver, MS Wavetable Synth will work - with the real-time latency issue.
Solution is to use a softsynth plug-in (DXi or VST, but not MS Wavetable Synth) in your favorite music software - Sony Acid, Cakewalk, etc that support VST plug-in.
Other threads mention that Vista offers new method like ASIO4ALL that offers low latency - perhaps this will give you MS Wavetable support.
Hope this makes sense.
