This is a strange one, my sound source (guitar into mic on SC) work perfectly, cubase SX2.2 sees ASIO4ALL v2.2 and allows me to alter the settings, but I cannot get a level for the input, not at all, no sound. Here is the setup: Creative SoundBLaster Live --disabled-- Creative Audigy 2 LS --enabled-- default settings. Doesn't seem to matter what you do, I have tried adding hardware buffer, altered all the inputs, outputs, enabled and disabled them, nothing is going into cubase at all. And as a last resort I tried ASIO 1.8 still nothing either. But the latency fell from 23ms (with v2.2) to 5ms, so I am impressed, just got to get it to work. And the latest update, if I enable hardware buffering, I get a signal in cubase, though it is just a low level hiss, don't know if this helps any. Thanks for any assistance Shaine

Yeah, OK I feel a right plonker now, less than 10 mins after posting the question I get the solution. Anyway, I have read another post in here about this, though the answer was to read the book, here is the quick way, works for 1.8 and 2, force 16bit sampling (easy really) with the 1.8 version you get around 5.805ms ;D(but then I have lots of processors and ram (2x2.5G AMD MP and 3Gb Registered DDR), as well so that may help there. But in the 2 version you get an acceptable 23ms , worse, but workable. Thanks for your time Shaine
