As it stands, there are no known incompatibilities. It should just work. Anyway, please feel free to share your experiences!

I already emailed you my experience with ASIO4ALL on a Asus UX32VD with the onboard Realtek hardware and a Motu Microbook (several crashes)

I looks like ASIO4ALL is dead. All support has ended. Can anyone confirm?

Yeah I got the hp pilivion with Beats Audio and asio will not work. I have had it working when and only when I roll back the audio driver, or update it, but only until I restart the pc. I've also noticed that while I do not ever use iexplore I constantly find a low mic process running from iexplorer which concerns me. I'm no novice. Admin does nothing. exclusive controls do nothing. shutting off background apps including beats audio does nothing. there IS a hidden process or code that is constantly locking the audio board, probably listening in to see if your a terrorist. I don't blame you guys. I'm blaming microsoft, but I wouldn't blame you if you found a workaround to this issue either. In fact I wish someone would hack microsoft completely and utterly and they would fall, and they would go home to a starving family for the things they do.

Yo the last thing about hacking was me. I figured it out. ASIO DOES work chief! Here is how. Windows has problems with everything and it always comes down to this. Ownership or exclusive control. go to your recording settings. clicking that little box that says allow exclusive control doesn't change a thing because that only means non windows functions. so go to "listen" tab and UN check it. If your mic is on in windows and you see the volume for it in the mixer control, ASIO will NOT work. must deactivate it in windows, then ASIO works GREAT. Thank you thank you, I'll be here all week....now...if I can make my ezdrummer start saving settings again, then that would be great. pretty sure the file that saves settings is read only...AGAIN with the windows file securities thing. ARRGG!

Thank you for the advice on this. I managed to connect a PV6 to a new windows 8 laptop computer running an old copy of Adobe Audition. ASIO4ALL solved the latency issue and keeps me from having to buy a different little mixer.

Hello,
I've been using ASIO4ALL for about a week now (I'm just starting to record) and today I discovered I'm getting no sound with it.
I'm using Windows 8 (64) with Reaper 64 and noticed that when I use ASIO today my only option is micin1 and micin2...it wasn't this way before I believe.
Any help would be greatly appreciated to this noob.

As far as I know, todays chips are mostly fine with hdaudio.sys generic MS driver, similary as external with usbaudio.sys - so I recommend to uninstall the audioadapter drivers, all theirs craps completelly and try to force Windows to use hdaudio.sys and/or usbaudio.sys as such drivers are fine tuned already by MS team and they discover all in/outs and capabilities. It requires often to completelly purge even registry if you once installed the custom drivers (often worse than generic one, sometimes including their super-duper "effects" implemented the way it only ADDs latency!! and bugs troublesome for asio4all). I believe only in the chips and MS with only ASIO4ALL in between :-), howgh!
