Hi, You've probably know what my problem is, but... I spend a long time reading this forum and i've figured out how to make my Realtek HD Audio output available (control panel->sound->right click on speakers ->properties->Advanced and i've changed sample rate to 24bit 44100Hz). But I still don't have output signal/sound. I have tried to untick "allow application to take exclusive control of this device" option, but it's not it. Is there anybody who know what should i do to make it right ?
I am using Cubase 5 on windows 7 x64

Hello. I am not getting any output either, I am using Sibelius 7 with Windows 8. I do have a WDM device, I have tried by checking the Always Resample 44.1kHz<->48kHz, as well as the two other Options Allow Pull Mode and Force WDM Driver To 16 Bit; nothing worked. In the Audio Engine Options window of Sibelius 7, I am not able to do anything in the Output box because it is faded out. Thanks for any help on this matter.

In Cubase5, make sure you have assigned the new ASIO4ALL outputs/inputs by deleting the the old settings and re-adding the new ones DEVICES > VST CONNECTIONS > Inputs Tab / Outputs Tab. You may need to restart Cubase to take effect.
I hope this points you in the right direction.

Anyone successfully achieved this?
Lots of problems reported, re win7 x64 realtek drivers.
Specifically trying to make use of onboard (awesome) speakers (no HD/USB/SPDIF devices to plug in!)
