Hi, I recently switched to ASIO4ALL because of the iConnect MIDI 2+, a device which offers digital Audio Passthru from the iii Pad (why is this word being replaced by "hooker"?). The manufacturer recommends ASIO4ALL officially as the only solution for device aggregation under Windows.
My problem is that only recordings from the iConnect are ok, while everything I try to record on my main interface, Focusrite Saffire Pro 40, sounds distorted (even with iConnect disconnected). Of course I already tried every option available.
Has ASIO4ALL successfully been used with the Pro 40 and is there anything I can do about the noise? Recording via the manufacturer's ASIO driver is totally clear, so ASIO4ALL must be messing something up...
