::)I have installed the latest driver from realtek website 3.76 version and I had a incompatibility issue with asio 4 all 2.6 driver version.
My laptop is a Sony Vaio215z 1.7Ghz centrino with 512 mb ram windows xp home sp2 optimized for music and ALC 203 Realtek
Which recent realtek driver verdion should I install on it for good working?

Me too. Realtek AC'97 onboard soundcard on my laptop. I select "ASIO4ALL v2" in the sound settings in Traktor DJ Studio 2.6.2 but I hear nothing. The minute I switch back to my regular sound drivers (DS DoundMAX Digital Audio) I can hear the sound fine.
When I click "control panel" in Traktor to see the ASIO4ALL options the "OUT 2x 48kHz, 20Bits" is unavailable but the "IN 2x 48kHz, 16Bits" is running.
Why is OUT unavailable?
Thanks for any help

I have the same problems. I use an Acer TM 3000 with 1.73GHz, 1024mb and Cubase SX3.
At first the option "OUT 2x 44.1-96kHz, 24Bits" was unavailable but after restarting Cubase it was available but I still don't get any sound. I've tried unistall and intalled it again but it dosen't work.
Anybody know what to do? PLEASE =)
/Henrik

Delta 66 card, delta ASIO, Realtek AC97 WDM driver
Same thing, then uninstalled all, and reinstalled, installing ASIO4ALL last of all. Now it works well for the music app using ASIO4ALL, but get minor crackling listening to other stuff on the default (Delta 1/2) driver, like DVDs and MP3s will have some crackle. I do notice a performance increase with ASIO4ALL, but the other stuff makes it untenable since I don't know how to configure around the crackle...

I have an AC'97 ONboard soundcard on an ABIT Motherboard and when trying to launch the control panel the computer reboots....Checked the drivers and they are current and no flaws on the install.

Okay.... I found another post in the forums about ATI Rage Theater problems so I uninstalled my All-In-Wonder 2006 Edition and now ASIO4ALL will open just fine but still no sound input into Guitar Rig. I have muted the Line IN on the playback side but cannot change on the recording side...They will not select. Nothing on the recording side will select under windows sound mixer. I can get sound from the input, only if I select Line-IN under playback, but it is just loops back out unprocessed.

I have had a ton of installation problems with ASIO4ALL on my Realtek AC97 Onboard Audio...These turned out to be a conflict with my All-In-Wonder.
Here are some of the things I did to get it to work.
Install quicktime. under Audio preferences change from 41kHz to 48kHz
If you have an ATI All-in-wonder or a TV card from ATI then you MUST disable ATI Theatre Rage Audio (Only when you are using your audio programs) under your device manager.
MAKE sure that under your recording properties that Line IN is selected and the slider turned halfway up.
Also Make sure to Mute Line in under Play properties.
Any other question concerning the AC97 and ASIO4ALL can be sent to:

I just stumbled onto this killer driver last night and had almost no trouble getting the 2.7beta running on my Realtek AC'97 for VIA (which is the Realtek ALC650 chip). This was using an older Realtek driver (sorry cant remember the realtek version number on it but it was the one that came down via windows update a while back). I upgraded that later but it was after asio4all was working as expected and there was no noticable difference.
Maybe the 2.7beta will help for the problem you guys are seeing.
Many many thanks Herr Tippach for one very kick ass driver!

but for some reason i installed both ableton 5 & 6 demo on my new comp with diff motherboard (which may have different driver will get other on and see if it works!) and both did not enter, they got to the splash screen but then i got two beeps. is this a sound card problem. if i can use reason well shurely it should work!
