This thread is reserved for issues that might (might not) occur with the new v 2.7 beta 1 that were _not_ seen in version 2.6, IOW where v2.6 would be the "fix" for 2.7 beta 1.
This, of course, is to make sure, the final 2.7 will be a full improvement over 2.6 with no fallbacks whatsoever.

Music playback using 2.7 Beta doesn´t work in either foobar2000 or Winamp. The soundcard I'm using is a M-Audio Revolution 7.1.

Generic USB device does not work 2.7 beta using Foobar and Windows2003. The control panel sees the USB device fine. Foobar produces no error, just doesn't do anything when you hit play.

The beta 1 had an issue on systems with no SSE2 support if you had the hardware buffer option enabled for your audio device. That's been fixed in the beta 2.
Does it work for you now?

No, the sound does not still work. The Control Panel tells me that the output (OUT) is Beyond Logic.
I have only SSE support but I don´t have the hardware buffers option enabled.

Problem w/2.7 Beta 2: Audio playback is choppy, says "overload" in the panel. FLStudio says its using about 88% cpu. Returning to ASIO4ALL 2.6 solves the problem, with perfect playback @ 30ms @ about 88% cpu usage.
I'm using an Echo Indigo IO card w/FLStudio 6.08

I get the same problem with 2.7 and had to revert back to 2.6 to fix it. I'm on a PIII mobile laptop with an ac97 sound card.

I updated the driver to 2.7 and it works great with Cakewalk/GTPRO3, but my Microsoft Kernel Wave Mixer is now disabled ? It reads "window cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (code 39)". I get no sound when playing DVD's. Audio Files (I-tunes), CD's, etc.

Sorry !! I was too quick to post..... Fixed itself upon reboot !!! I think it was a file from a home made DVD that botched the driver but all is well now !! Thanks...for the awsome driver !

2.7 causes ableton live flstudio and cubase to crash sporadically with my conexant ac-link audio built in sound card. The problem doesn't exist in 2.6, but my alesis x25 doesn't work as well with 2.6 (constant dropouts). I'm on a compaq presario v2000z with an amd turion.

With the v2.6 my Tascam U122 works definitely well with an infamouse C-major embedded, with the 2.7 i'm getting "beyond logic" errors. How I can help in finding the trouble ?
Thanks for all.
