Hello
I just installed asio4all... It seems I can't do better than 8ms latency, does it sound "normal" to all of you ?

What's your audio card, what are your settings in ASIO4all, which program do you use?

Sorry for not thinking of saying that beforehand ;D My audio card is : Conexant AMC AUDIO with OUT 2x8-48Hz, 16 bits IN 2x8-48Hz, 16 bits My settings in ASIO4all are : - Latency Compensation : In & Out : 0 samples - I do not use the hardware buffer (cos it makes my sound crappy) - Kernel Buffers : 2 - I put on "Always Resample from 44.1 to 48" (but I don't think it really matters regarding my deal) - I put on "Force WDM Driver To 16 Bit" (but I'm not really sure it is useful given that I still have 16 Bit anyways) - ASIO Buffer Size = 384 Samples minimum (actually need 416 to make it good) I merely use Guitar Rig so far, and the latency is quite hearable, shameful it's not better though... even though its way better than before ! Thx for helping Martijn

Hiya,
Looking at your settings, I dont think you'll get any lower. You could disable your audio-in if you dont need it. Not really a solution, but a different soundcard instead of your onboard chip, will reduce the latency and cpu use.
happy music making! Grtz
