Hi!
I'm wondering, how hard would it be to make a standalone ReWuschel application? I'm using Echo Audiofire audio interface with native ASIO drivers. I used to use ASIO4ALL with my Realtek AC'97 and I really liked the idea of simulating ReBirth for Live audio input.

I have realised that it will not work, I was intending to write an ASIO host application and I believe there is a limitation to ASIO such that only one application can connect to the ASIO driver at a time, as such if my application is using ASIO reason will not be able to and thus you will not be able to hear any sounds from reason. doh.

Don't worry gusc i am getting closer to writing my own It will be free and open. Will it have some recording feature? As far as it seems Propellerheads will NEVER include audio-in and this Hammer does not have recording feature either. I know - it's prety darn complicated to write software like that, but if thing like that could see the daylight it would be one of most popular software in the world (of Reason) I think only thing that people would realy need is a small sequencer with audio recording feature that would work as ReWire Slave. Probably 8 predefined audio tracks (not more or less) with no other options, than synchronization. I would realy love to write it on my own, but my skills are at .NET level (C# and friends). Actualy I could even try to write it (there is NAudio - an open-source component for .NET Framework), but for this audio software .NET could be too slow.
