Cubase, Ableton Live & Reason do recognize the driver & I can select it & even open the control panel but I don't get any sound. if there is a work around to this I'd like to know cos I love ASIO 4 ALL & at the same time I can't really be bothered to go back to Vista cos I'm so used to the fast snappy workflow in Windows 7 now hehe

Version 2.9 is supposed to work just fine in Windows 7. There might be a problem in your particular configuration, and likely steps can be taken to solve this, but there is no general Windows 7 compatibility issue known.

ASIO4ALL is working perfectly with Windows 7 (Build 7077) for me, in fact better than it did on my previous Windows Server 2003 installation. In fact ASIO4ALL work for me since Windows 7 Build 7057. I did upgrade installation for all my Windows 7 builds and ASIO4ALL just works.

Yep. works fine for me too. Using Windows 7 64bit version build 7100. Using it in Mediamonkey to route the signal directly to my external DAC bypassing internal upsampling on the onboard soundcard.

Asio4all working fine at 64 samples here on Windows 7 RC (build 7100).
Only thing is that a small delay is build up requiring to "reset" one of the sliders and then it works fine again. But I don't know if that is related to the Windows 7 drivers of creative, the Windows 7 stack or Ableton.
Please note that you still need Windows 7 audio drivers. Asio4all is NOT a replacement as it stacks up to the audio drivers for your hardware.

Hi all, have installed the latest asio4all drivers on my windows 7 RC and seems to have performance issues I have tried tweaking dif settings to try and improve the stability however it still seems to glitch and stutter when using cubase. Will there be a new version released soon aimed at improving performance and stability?. I have however been very pleased with all earlier versions in the work achieved so thumbs up to what you guys have achieved so far

This is default behavior AFAIK. Such features are only available with ASIO drivers from your vendor (if available).

On Vista, Asio4All worked perfect with the same drivers and configuration as now in Vista7, I'm able to record with Asio4All, but I don't get any sound!

I'm getting the same problems as diabol... I'm using Asio4all 2.9 and up to date windows 7.
In guitar rig you will hear the sound, but it will mute all other sounds. In Nuendo or Cubase, you can select ti but you won't hear any sound...

You might want to try this ... Messed around for days with ASIO. Running Windows RT. Then noticed that sampling rate on my Toshiba was faster than default expected. Just cranked it up in ASIO control panel. Kicked right in with Guitar Rig, out through Realtek or DPS. FYI.
