(noob) I disabled certain inputs/outputs and managed to bring latency to 15/16ms.
I don't know if it can get better with realtek HD?
Anyone able to get lower ms with this card?

i can't go below 512 samples, sometimes even 1024. i've read somewhere on this forum that maybe old realtek drivers would be more appropriate to work with, didn't try it though. and are hard to find.

I get the same latency with the latest drivers from the realtek site without using Asio4all

[newbie question] When you guys talk about latency, do you mean input latency, output latency, or the sum of these (i.e. line-in to line-out)?

Hi! Just got 5.8ms with 256 samples with no sound crackles in laptop asus x80l. I used utility that require audio out to line in connection: www.centrance.com/downloads/ltu/CE_LTU_37.exeSo I suppose this is overall result, i.e. summarized latency.
