Hi,
I don't know why, but on my 5.1 soundcard, (CMI8738/C3DX) the rear outputs get summed with my front output and come out at the front... The rear stays normal, and the center/sub stays normal as well...
There's one of two ways for me to solve this issue... either fix it all together or set the channels to different outputs (so channel 3&4, which are normally rear end up being center/sub) (I only need 2 stereo outputs)
If anyone could give me a hand with this, it would be greatly appreciated...

Same problem here..... Under XP everything worked fine. Win7 is different.

ASIO4ALL does not intermix audio channels at all. As far as the X-Fi, what you should probably do is use the Creative Console and switch the device into "Audio Production Mode", as well as disable all sound "enhancements".

I have similar issues with live on my X-FI gamer but not on channel 1/2 (Left/Right)
I have my speaker setup configured for 5.1 1/2 Front Left Right 3/4 Front Center 5/6 Rear Left Right 7/8 Center Left Right
Channel 7/8 give me 'bleeding' channels as audio is now played over my front and rear speakers.
