Hi, first let me thank you for a wonderful ASIO driver which worked just fine for me in Sonar 8 on Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. Unfortunately, after upgrading Sonar to 8.5, the application refuses to initialise ASIO4ALL with the error "Audio Driver Error: The following driver(s) either do not support the current audio format, or are in use by another application". I can safely exclude the latter possibility: no other program is using ASIO4ALL. If I close Sonar 8.5 and try again with Sonar 8 (which is also installed), everything works fine. Sonar is set to the same settings (e.g. sample rate in both versions is 44100 etc.). Another user also reported this on the cakewalk forum: forum.cakewalk.com/tm.aspx?high=&m=1875985Yohoo

I'm sorry I realised too late I should have posted this in "Problems and Solutions" ...

You might get the impression I like talking to myself here ;D but I just found the solution myself in another thread (http://mtippach.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=Bugs&action=display&thread=2033&page=1#5712).
With version 2.10 it works just fine.
Cheers, yohoo

What was posted as the 2.10 debug build has now been officially released as 2.10 Beta 1, so feel free to point anyone interested to the 2.10 Beta 1, but please not to the 2.10 debug build, which otherwise may develop a life of its own spreading as the "final" 2.10.
