I'm running WinXP SP3. I've already done a digital 2-way crossover using a VST minihost running a VST MP3 player (very limited features), and injecting the resulting audio into a digital 2-way crossover VST plugin designed with SynthMaker. This way the PC is acting as highly versatile 2-way digital crossover. I'm using a MAYA44USB for the output, having the required 4 channels at the output. This works great. However, the little VST MP3 player has very limited features. I'd like to run Winamp instead. But wait a minute : how to inject the Winamp audio stream into the VST chain ? Is ASIO4ALL recommending something ?

You probably need something like virtual audio cables (VAC) but I do not know if this works in combination with ASIO4ALL or ASIO at all.
If it works, then you are able to route the Winamp ASIO out to a ASIO in for any other application.
I know that that specific scenario works without ASIO but I never tried it in combination with ASIO(4ALL).
