Seems to me that: A. Your guitar preamp sends a too high signal. B. You are having a mic preamp activated or something related.

C. You may have output enabled as a recording source, thus creating a feedback loop. Fix in the Windows mixer!

C. You may have output enabled as a recording source, thus creating a feedback loop. Fix in the Windows mixer! well i have tried many things, different drivers. front/rear line-in, front/rear mic. and only thing that removes static is front mic-in. but after playing around 10 minutes it makes even worse cracking sound and latency then i have to restart guitar rig, tbh even with front mic-in i dont get the smooth sound i get with my old pc which had a realtek alc885. i m just thinking if i my soundcard is broken or something. but it works fine at every movie/game except guitar rig. cpu: i5 750 4ghz 4gb ram is my rig, its more then capable of making guitar rig run without a problem.

Dude, I know how to fix it. Go to the bottom right corner of your screen and right click "Volume" (the speaker icon). Select "Adjust Audio Properties". Click on the "Audio" tab. The second section going down should say "Sound Recording". Click volume, and when the panel shows up, you'll get a few options to choose from; Stereo Mix, CD Audio, Line In and Microphone. Under each is an empty box, and a check mark can be placed in any one at a time. If you're getting that terrible feedback noise in Asio4all, make sure that the check mark is under "Microphone". This should fix the problem.
