Hi,
Example: I'm using Media Player to play a music cd and i have Amplitube (to play my guitar) on at the same time but i can only hear my guitar and not the music - or vice versa.
I want to play my guitar on top of the music, using it as a backing track. But i can only use one at a time.. Either listen to the tracks or play my guitar. Im guessing my outputs in use and that's why my media player doesn't play.
How do you fix this?

I use Asio4All for my guitar program and it works well other than my problem stated above.
I also have SoundMax Integrated Digital HD Audio.

Just adding...
Asio4All's Device list shows my output is unavailable whenever i play guitar and listen to the audio tracks...
Example 2: I open Amplitube2. Use Asio4All as my audio I/O. Plug my guitar to my mic in and play. Everything works fine. Then i open Media Player and try to play a track. The track doesn't play. So then i disable the output from Asio4All and the media player plays the tracks now. When i try to enable the output again it shows that it is unavailable and i can't play the guitar but the Media Player now works. As soon as i close the Media Player i can hear my guitar.

You are experiencing correct behavior.
This is how ASIO4ALL works. It needs exclusive access to your audio hardware.
There are work-arounds like for example * running a DAW like Reaper, * create two tracks * in one you drag your mp3/audio file * in the other you load the Amplitube VST instead of the standalone version
Now you can play the mp3 in your DAW and use Amplitube at the same time.
