After 1 week of serious battling .. I'm about to toss in the towel. But I thought I would come here first maybe someone can point me in the right direction.
system:
AMD 6000+ X2
4 GB DDR 800
ATI 3870 512mb = drivers
14_vista64_win7_64_dd_ccc_wdm_enu)
Sound Blaster X-fi (PCI) = drivers
(XFXA_PCDRV_LB_1_04_0090)
Windows 7 ultimate x64
DeckaDance with ASIO4ALL 2.9
PROBLEM:
ASIO4ALL (which worked perfectly on this system last week) reports "beyond logic" for all my WDM drivers. This setup was working awsome for a long time then one morning on a boot .. I went to spin some records and ASIO4ALL was reporting the "beyond Logic" error.
Attempted already:
I have attempted everything I can think of in regards to uninstalling and reinstalling everything from teh software to drivers for sound card. I have removed card from board and reinstalled. Right now I have disabled all my other sound drivers. My mainboard sound "realtek" was also reporting "beyond Logic". I have WDM drivers for a total recorder software which also reported "beyond Logic". When my ASIO was working... all 3 types of WDMs were available for use and working properly. I have removed all drivers other then my creative to make it easier to trouble shoot. I've diabled mainboard sound and removed drivers, removed Total recorder drivers, and removed Creative SB drivers, removed SB card and reinstalled and reinstalled fresh new SB drivers. I've also removed and reinstalled ALL versions of ASIO4ALL.
At this point I have a system-wide problem with the WDMs of somekind. Obviously my sound is working fine. My Card registers and works just fine with window media player or winamp or VLC. Just ASIO4ALL reports an error on everything. It's like some setting outside ASIO4ALL is off in windows.
PLEASE HELP! DJ IN NEED!
If anyone has anything to offer I'll take it. I'm very computer savy. I have literally tried everything I can think of. I feel there is sometype of software setting or something in windows that needs to be changed/adjusted.
Please if anyone knows anything post it up!
thanks,
