I cannot say enough good about this setup. I joined this forum just to make this post. Just did a full blown test last night with the top IBM 8303 NetVista shown here. Pentium 4 2.4 Ghz with 512Mb 533 Mhz ram. I fully expected to have to buy a low profile ASIO card or a USB ASIO device. Not at all! I was running with latency set at 512 (~ 11Ms). ASIO4ALL likes the SoundMAX hardware that's all I can say. If you want a cheap and built like a tank roadworthy DAW box I highly recommend this setup. Just one machine will run many VSTi. The motherboard pure INTEL. I am surprised more people don't use this as a gigging setup. I ran the guitar thru Guitar Rig with no perceptable delay so it does input and output! I ran Absynth alongside and I was hovering at 66% CPU with Guitar Rig on HQ setting. The ASIO4ALL icon never ever went red.
