While I realize this has been discussed in other areas. I don't believe an actual 'bug' report has been filed/posted. Testing with Foobar2000 and cicsPlay, ASIO4ALLv2.10b1 will display a red Exclamation mark and playback will stutter. No matter what settings are set, what player is used, ASIO4ALL is unable to playback 96khz with the smoothness and percision
Since the last release was in 2009, I hope I'm not too late. Creative's ASIO drivers function, however switching types creates a 'poop' storm filled with distortion.
EDIT: Tested with an Audigy 2ZS and Auzentec Forte. If required, I can test/verify it's an issue with onboard.

ASIO4ALLv2.10b1 [...] Since the last release was in 2009, Sorry! I read the wrong topic and went with that version. Version 2.10 is the actual version I'm using. Test Media specs / what I'm talking about: i.imgur.com/wlAOu.pngMedia playing back fine: i.imgur.com/EVne8.png

I'd try the following settings (have 'em with my 24/96 USB DAC): Latency Compensation: In: 0 samples Out: 0 samples Uncheck HW buffer Kernel buffers: 4 ASIO Buffer Size: 2048 Worked for me with 88KHz & 96KHz sampling rates
