Finally i figured out the right settings for producing music with FL studio xxl 9.0.0. with asio4all and realtek, no more anoying glitches! no more sound dropouts and no more distorted crazy echooing noises.
When i finally got the right sound on fl, and i wanted to render my music into mp3, suddenly, there were the glitches and all the other shit. i went insane for a while..
but i've figured that out as well:
(don't know if it works for people using microphones, you can always try, and some things i did maybe not necessary, but i like to keep it this way, cause finally after days and nights of figuring out settings, they work)
here are my configurations:
MSI cr630
*windows 7 home premium 64bits
*CPU: AMD Athlon II dual-core P320
2.10 GHz, 3GB
*Realtek HD audio (latest update)
*ASIO4ALL v2.10
*fl studio xxl 9.0.0.
speaker:
-------------
Go to the advanced settings of realtek,
choose 24 bits, 44100Hz
also disable exclusive mode
fl studio (options-audiosettings-mixer):
----------------
make sure that the sample rate is 44100hz
and interpolation 6-point hermite
asio4all control panel:
----------------------------------
(Select advanced view)
- (Enable only realtek output)(or the ones you want to use)
- Buffersize: 1024 samples
- Latency compensation: in = 1024 / out = 1024
- Buffer offset: 20ms
- Enable Always resample 44.1kHz<->48kHz"
- Disable Allow Pull Mode (WaveRT)
- Disable Force WDM Driver to 16bit
if you're have problems with your rendered MP3 files (glitches etc..):
when you save as mp3 file change the bitrate to 160Hz (or higher but file enlarges) and set quality to 6-point hermite
I want to thank all of the people behind ASIO4ALL, for bringing good quality sound!
(Also check out my fl music @ soundcloud.com/cynogen) comments are always welcome
