I'm using Evolution's Sound Studio Pro II (2.01, latest version) with asio4all, latest version. The problem, when I select ASIO audio output I can't hear anything, no VST instruments, no audio samples. MME audio works fine, beside the delay of course.
I've experienced this on two systems:
1) SB 1024 Live! + AC97 5.1 Realtek audio (standard WDM drivers)
2) AC97 2.0 Realtek audio, standard WDM drivers
I've tried to exclude the M$ GS Synth from the MIDI devices config, but it was no use.. I've tried playing with buffer lenghts etc, but again no output. From other apps ASIO4ALL works flawlessly..

I have a copy of Sound Studio Pro II that came with my UC-33 controller, but unfortunately I am unable to launch it. I throws a BSOD as soon as it is started (ASIO4ALL _not_ installed)
I'm going to try it on another box. Meanwhile, could you please check whether this is an issue with SSP II alone, i.e. other ASIO applications working o.k.?

The other ASIO hosts I've tried are working fine!

I got SS II running and indeed it insists in having at least one MIDI output device enabled - which screws it up if the MS Wavetable Synth is the only available MIDI out device in the system. A solution could be to install a "dummy" MIDI device to feed into SS II, such as MIDI Yoke: www.midiox.com/myoke.htm
