Hello,
When attempting to load Pro Tools 10 on my Windows 7 64-bit system, I receive the following assertion if the ASIO4All driver audio device setting is set to my Logitech G930 headset (both the OS and the headset have the latest drivers as of this post):
"Could not create a new document because Assertion in "f:\code\ws.protools_10.0.1\alturaports\dfw\views\ umenu.win32.cpp", line 1165."
This assertion only occurs if the headset is selected as the audio device. If I select my onboard "High Definition Audio Device" instead, then everything loads fine without a problem. I've experienced this with both the 2.11 ASIO4All driver as well as 2.10.
If you need any more information on this, please let me know.
Thanks!

"Could not create a new document because Assertion in "f:\code\ws.protools_10.0.1\alturaports\dfw\views\ umenu.win32.cpp", line 1165." As this is PT code, throwing a fit and not bothering to go into more detail regarding the particular expectation made by this piece of code not being met by reality - there is little we can do on this end. Does it work with other audio applications?

High Michael,
I'm unable to test whether it works with other audio applications, as I don't have anything else on my computer that triggers ASIO4All. Is there a downloadable program you could suggest? If there's something free and attainable, I will grab it and see if the driver functions properly for that with the headset.
Thank you for the swift response.
