Michael zuerst DANKE fuer die tolle Arbeit.
Dell Inspiron 1000 512 RAM 2.2 GiG Celleron SoundMax Audio + USB M-Audio Fast track on Steinberg NUENDO
With ASIO4All I finally can record direct through the SoundMax onboard audio card. THANK YOU! very much.
I followed your advice and use the Microsoft generic USB sound driver which actually let me select the fast track USB device. (With the original M-Audio driver the Laptop crashes) If it all I would love the get it working with the Microsoft driver.
Once I select the device I notice a distortion (crackling pausing) in the output channel and your software reports OUT Beyond Logic..... All orter options seem to work. As per M-Audio this should be a Full Duplex device.
Frohe Weihnachten!

I forgot to tell you that outside NUENDO under windows the USB playback works great trough the M-Audio device.
Thank you for your consideration.

Hello Johann, If the output isn't completely silent but emits some crackeling etc. before it turns silent, I would suggest that you try this new test release: www.asio4all.com/A4Av23p2.exeIn the Nuendo ASIO setup, try to play with the configuration options, namely the buffer size, try to disable audio input and see if this makes a difference - and watch that overload indicator! Frohe Weihnachten, ebenfalls!
