I registered today, and logged on, and appeared to be logged on correctly, with my user name at top. However, when I went to a forum, and wanted to start a new thread, I saw no link for that. I could read the posts, respond to them, but not start a new thread. I should mention that my main web browser is Firefox 1.0, an increasingly popular browser. www.mozilla.org. Its tabbed interface is especially good for reading boards like these. I tried again with IE6. I had to log-in again, I guess the first log-in just registered with Firefox. With IE I saw the post new thread icon, and that is how I am writing now. So, I guess I can just use IE for posting new threads to this board. However, you might wish to look at solving this problem, as many people these days are using browsers other than IE. As Firefox is part of the Mozilla project, which is related to Netscape, I assume the problem would pertain to all Netscape-based browsers. Thank you.

I'm running firefox 1.0 also. This is just a test post.
ON EDIT: It seems to post ok, and looks like modify works ok too.

This appears to be a bit strange as I rarely ever use IE myself. Depending on the machine I'm working on, I either use Mozilla or the Firefox/Thunderbird combo and obviously, I'm able to start new threads ;-)
This is a third party hosted forum so there is nothing I can do about the forum software.
Does this problem still persist for you?
