Hi, I recently bought a powerful cantrino based laptop: 1,8GHz Pentium-M, 1Gb RAM, 7200rpm HD but the internal soundcard performance is bad compared to my old desktop Athlon 900Mhz with internal VIA soundcard: on the last one I can play at 64samples with 2 buffers (I tried your driver since version 1.8 and now I'm using 2.0) instead on the first (centrino) I can only manage 448samples with 2 buffers (or 144 with 4 buffers; or 224 with 3 buffers...) is there a solution? At least can you give me an advice on which's the best one of the last 3 configurations?
I wish to thank you very much indeed because you piece of software is really something wonderful! ;-) I can play and enjoy making music without empty my pocket!

You could try the 3.63 driver for your Realtek audio chip. This is meant to be buggy in just the right way so that you can lower the latencies with ASIO4ALL.

Hi,
I´m using also a Powerfull Notebook with the Realtek Ac 97. It´s a Targa 3000+ with 512MB
Since I´m using the Driver 3.63 the latency is much better (some about 300 samples and 2 buffers)
but I still want to lower the latency. Any tips? Maybe a driver from a different Brand or manufacturer will work?
Thanks for help purpendicular

Where could I obtain the Realtek 3.63 drivers? Their website only has the current release. Thanks!
