on the FAQ it says that for the usb audio cards it is best to use the windows usb audio driver,but as i tryed doing that ,i couldn't find the way to install it, the automatic installation did not find it and with the manual way,i couldn't find it as well, i use the M-AUDIO Transit CARD,ON WINXP SP1 edition, help will be great.
buy the way,i saw there is a commercial website,called called usb-audio.com that sells asio usb driver for 50 euro. is it a much better driver than asio4all that is worth paying 50euro for it? help can be sent to shay30@012.net.il

Plug in your device and install the driver that comes with it. To install generic windows driver:
Right click My Computer - Properties Click on Hardware Tab and select Device Manager Under Sound, Video and Game Controllers double click on your device. Click on Driver tab and select Update Driver Say No to Windows Update prompt if it comes up Select install from a list or specific location. Next. Select Don't search, I will choose which driver to install. Next. UNTICK Show compatible Hardware and you should see the driver 'Generic USB Audio Device' listed. Try that. N.B. If the generic driver bombs out you can go back to the original driver by using the same method except tick the box 'Show compatible Hardware' to just see the drivers designed for your device.
