Hi all, 1st the obligatory "thanks for providing such amazing freeware" (BTW Michael Tippach I like the comments about capitalism treating you well and giving something back, very fair methinks!!).
However I do have a question. My soundcard is a CMedia 8738 and my music software is Cubase 5.1. Im running Windows XP and the CMI8738_WDM_0644XP driver. Running ASIO4ALL 2.2 I can achieve nice low latencies but what I want to do is to address all 3 stereo outputs of the card from Cubase.
Im a seasoned Cubase user and have used many mutliple output pro audio cards so Im pretty sure that the software is setup correctly. I have disabled the input in A4A and it picks up that the card has 6 outs. Cubase allows me to select them even, but I have a problem that when I send an audio track to just one set of outputs the signal is also present in the other channels.
I searched the forum and found some other posts relating to this setup. They seem to suggest that it is possible to address the seperate outputs with seperate audio tracks.
So can anyone confirm this? Does anyone have an idea why this is happening?
We shall see, I look forward to any input!
Kind Regards
Dave mK
