I,ve read the creative website on one of their device "...ASIO 2.0... 1.0ms !....."
Guess what i found their far 75% less expensive card to 0,6 ms with ASIO4ALL. Awesome...But with problem
- I use Creative live 24! 7.1 - ASIO4ALL 2.10 beta - Reaper 3.4 - Amplitube - DIG 2.0
- Set my sound card : 96000 at 24 bit - ASIO4ALL Control panel : set all to minimum - This is the trick but may be the downside : ==== I have to play audio file in Winamp ====, or it will get crackle
Is it possible i don't have to always == turn on winamp and mute it == to smooth the ASIO4all?

You sum all sort of applications which does not make any sense. Did you configure WinAMP to use ASIO and selected the ASIO4ALL drivers? Are you saying that you do not get static sound in WinAMP via ASIO4ALL and do get static in Reaper, Amplitube and DIG? The only reason that I can think of is that WinAMP is only a sample player. It doesn't really do much. All other apps you mention have internal mixer buffers, etc. to do processing. That takes more processing power which needs larger buffers. Please state more information if I am not correct. By the way, you are not native english. But maybe google translate can translate your question better then you can write in english. translate.google.com/

Thanks for reply i'm sorry for my bad english
What i mean is, I play guitar with VST Amplitube/DIG in Reaper. In ASIO4ALL control panel, i set it all to minimum without Hardware buffer. Ok i get 0,6 ms.
But,,, it choppy... until i play a song in WinAmp w/ Directsound driver. Yes i'm my self confuse as well.
Therefore, all the time, i play guitar in realtime with Amplitube in Reaper, while Winamp playing an mp3 file(muted/ volume = 0).
2.0 ms is close to 0. 0.6 ms is very close to 0 So instead of increase the buffer size, i'd rather go WinAmp (sorry for language)
I jsut don't get it..

That is indeed very strange. What is even more strange is that you can still play audio via WinAMP while using ASIO4ALL through Reaper.
I cannot do that on my system.
What is your CPU usage while playing? Select that you want to see each core seperately and see if a core is exhausted in some situations.

Well, overall usage is below 30%. Core2duo 7400. On previous system AMD 2000+. I use amplitube 2and SAVIHOST as a VST host. But WinAMP still can Run.
