I am not sure if this is an asio4all issue, here it goes:
I'm using the Akai MPK 49, Asio4All, Windows 7.
Essentially the problem is this: When I attempt to record an audio track with my Akai using Edison, I get terrible feedback loops from my computer's microphone.
In the mixer, my only stereo input option is "HD Audio Muxed Capture 1." My output options are "Headphones/Speaker 1-Headphones/Speaker 2" & "none." As of yet this has been on "none"
Feedback starts as soon as I choose a track on the mixer.
I tried disabling my laptop's microphone but that hasn't helped.
I'll provide you with any missing pertinent info on my MIDI/audio settings, etc.
I appreciate any help I can get, I've been dying to play more with my Akai (just got it recently) and have really only been able to play with FL Studio instead (which is still fun, but limiting!). Please and Thank You!
