question about future of asio4all

Hello,

Thanks for great Asio4all (my creative x-fi hd usb doesnt sound right without it)
I have question - what you think to develope something like this for any who have only one hardware mixer on soundcard:
now is player -> asio -> soundcard or player -> windows mixer & driver -> soundcard , so we can hear good quality sound from player or any other sound from any program with windows mixer (what have bad quality resampler and mixer)
what if we could change to asio driver what could do asio stuff and mix (with good quality resampler like sox) with other sound (so would be asio and driver for windows stuff and with best quality pass to soundcard?)
benefits would be good (quality with all programs), costs - software mixer (cpu)

I found that asio4all not bypass all resampler filters in drivers (what a shame)
With new driver 1.2.21 for creative sb x-fi hd usb sound are worsen .....
