I'm using Finale 2012 in combination with the latest ASIO4ALL.
When I set Finale to use the ASIO4ALL driver and enable MIDI Thru (to enable MIDI input from my keyboard), ASIO4ALL reports:
"In use by another application? MS GS Wavetable Synth enabled?"
Strangely, when I set Kontakt 5 to use the ASIO4ALL driver, I don't get this message. So it seems to differ per application.
The best solution I've found is to temporarily disable the audio device. However, I'd prefer to e.g. directly disable the MS GS Wavetable Synth. Would this be possible?
