I installed ASIO4ALL as a way to reduce the latency that I experience with FL Studio (when running through primary sound drivers). However, I have some problems with this software and I hope that someone can help.
1. When I run FL Studio with ASIO4ALL, every other sound on my computer is muted. I can't turn them back on without closing FL Studio and restarting the programs.
2. The only audio device that shows up is "Realtek HD Digital Audio". Only ASIO4ALL seems to be able to use this - when I make it the default sound device, no other program makes sound in that channel. The monitor level DOES move, so I know that the digital audio merely isn't connected to anything.
Therefore, I have two questions.
1. Is there a way to manually select an output in ASIO4ALL if it's not listed in the list of devices? Or somehow get ASIO to play through the standard audio out channel?
2. Is there a way to make Realtek HD Digital Audio play through the standard audio out channel? (It'd be just as good as the above).
