Hi, just to let you know I found a workaround for getting Asio4all working with Realtek sound device on Windows 7.
I tried the 'disable device' trick which worked but left me with no way of controlling my volume so I disabled Windows Audio in 'computer / management / services and enabled the device again (after restart). BTW the device manager did not say 'enable' so I disabled again and then 'enabled'. This worked but the volume in Project 5 was extremely low, even with the volume up high. I then noticed a warning in the audio / asio set up dialogue about 'justify' settings which said 'turn your volume down before adjusting settings' which I am glad I did because after I adjusted it everything was VERY LOUD!
Sorted!
I don't know if any other sequencers have the 'justify' settings, or what it means (!) but it solved my problem and I can finally make some tunes on my laptop. Good luck.
