Hello.
I heard about some DJ software named Mixxx and sure enough, it's looking good and i thought I'd give it a go: www.mixxx.org/
Once i selected a track to play it was no where near the volume setting in windows. I had to turn my external speakers down to like 2% from previous 40% in order to get the volume down to a normal level.
I tried the software for a while, then restarted the computer and started Traktor (A paid alternative i have been using on and off through out the years...), There was no difference between Mixxx and Traktor volume.
Both applications are set to use ASIO driver so I figured that the ASIO driver stopped syncing with the windows volume setting for some reason and the only way around this that I know of is to use another driver in both applications, but why did the ASIO driver get stuck at full volume on the instant?.
