hi, I tried to use asio4all with more than one soundcard. I was able to activate them all in the control panel, but in my sequencer iit still only showed two mono outputs. My questions: 1) Is ASIO4ALL able to use multiple in-outputs? if yes:
2) Can I use the I/O of multiple soundcard together with ASIO4ALL, to create a 'virtual soundcard' with the I/O of all them together?

Yes, multiple Soundcard support would be great. Routing different soundcards to one virtual asio device with multiple outs/ins! You could use soundcards from different manufacturers! Please!

I too have been asking for this for generic USB audio devices. There are problems if the audio devices are feed the same stream and are not using the same clock. I think there are enough users who are willing to deal with this problem. Michael please give us something to play with. Here is Michael's comment about multi device support at one point in time. www.asio4all.com/MultiDeviceWhitepaper.pdf

Hey, if i'm not fooled (again) by bloody windows i can run an USB surround card, formerly just a stereo device (via original windows driver), as a 6 output device via asio4all. THATS GOOD ..and usb-sound works stable in windows 2000, NOT crackling like hell on windows XP SP 1 or 2. It's not firewire what wasn't implemented it's USB, i didn't know that. //..Bill !!! Whas' up ?? Sorry, windows is commercially blown up trash. Anybody with some tips for parallelport sound ? Do i've to install Win3.11 Japaneses Fonts first ? It's not eeesy ..these dayz ..BUT THANKS KASIO 4 ALL THE GOOD STUFF "Kasio !!! ..hoi hoi hoi !!" ..brzzzzkrchch ..PENG
