After having problems with audio level and then total loss of input/record while running v2.10, I switched to v2.11 Beta1 and everything works now. Go here for original problem post: mtippach.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=likelynotabugbutthereisaproblem&thread=2859&page=1--------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 6/16/12 Uh oh! Same problem came back, but I figured it out. Apparently the USB CODEC's volume level adjustment had somehow changed. That is, the volume level adjustment that is only accessible via the Control Panel's sounds/audio panel (on Windows XP-3). It is necessary to select the codec as an "Audio" or "Voice" device, then access the volume level adjustment panel where the level can be brought back to the max level. After doing so, be sure to select an alternate device so as those pesky system sounds don't end up in your music. I tried everything, including re-installing all drivers, but to no success. Nice to know this is not a hardware problem (my Alesis Multimix 12 USB, or a dead USB port), or a driver problem (ASIO4ALL v2.11 Beta, USB CODEC), or an application problem (Sonar 8.3). A lot of stuff to cause a potential problem, eh?
