Hello,
first, please excuse me for my english...
I am working with Cubasis VST 5 on a DELL Dimention 8300 on XP with a onboard-sound-card called "SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio".
I installed ASIO4ALL without problems, I chose ASIO4ALL but I heard nothing, even though "ASIO DirectX FULL Duplex Driver" and "ASIO multimedia Driver" work, of course with latency. "Allways Resample..." is ticked and I tryed it with "Force WDM Driver To 16 Bit" but it was still silent.
In the advanced mode you can see that "OUT 6x 48kHz, 20Bits" is unavailable. I guess that this is the problem, but I don't know how to solve it, so please help me.
Thanks,
AnyKey

I believe I am having the same issue w/ a SigmaTel soundcard in my new laptop. Its the only soundcard on the laptop and whenever I try to get a midi output through the Sibelius Music Notation program.

:)I had the same problem. With NI Combos ASIO4ALL audio was working well (with input and output), but with cubasis only input was available. The MS GS Midi Wavetable Synth is using the output. Disable the Midi output in Cubasis MME, and you can use the audio output. Use the VST instrument for Midi output, if necesarry. Blumi

Okay so I deselected the MS Wavetable synth as my MIDI device. But ASIO4ALL still says my output is beyond logic. Is there anything else I need to do?

you just mute it from volume control in windows: settings--control panel--sounds/audio--audio tab--volume button in "Midi playback"--MUTE SW SYNTH

I'm yet another person with this issue - no audio output with ASIO4ALL because MS Wavetable Synth is hogging the output channel.
However I cannot for the life of me figure out how to disable MS Wavetable Synth! I can see there's an "off" option in some programs, like Ableton, but in FL Studio (my main program) there is simply no option to turn it off. Can someone help, I'm desperate!
Is there a way to turn off Wavetable Synth in FL Studio or, failing that, a way of deactivating it in Windows in general?
